Remote Access and Sharing CCS on a Local Area Network.

All CCS Accounting programs have been written in such a manner that all data can be shared on a local area network (LAN) for simultaneous access (both read and write) of data, by up to as many users as the back end database supports (60 or more users). Both peer to peer and client/server networks are supported. No configuration changes within CCS are required for running a CCS Accounting program in a pear to peer LAN environment other than setting up security to protect your data. If you wish to give your clients remote access to one or more areas of their data, we recommend Microsoft Corporation's Terminal Services. Terminal services is also handy for accessing your real time data from a remote location. Please read over the articles below which cover these two methods of sharing data quite extensively.
